Philippine Embassy Joins 2018 ASEAN Committee in Tokyo Golf Tournament
18 March 2018: The Philippine Embassy in Tokyo joined the 2018 ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Golf Tournament held at Shishido Hills Country Club in Ibaraki. Graciously hosted by the Indonesian Embassy, the tournament was participated in by the ten (10) ASEAN Embassies in Japan.
The Philippine Embassy Team, headed by H.E. Ambassador Jose C. Laurel V, was composed of the following members: (1) Consul Leah Victoria Rodriguez; (2) Attaché Reynaldo Cahayag, Jr.; (3) Attaché Ricardo Antipolo; (4) Mr. John David Laurel, son of Amb. Laurel; (5) Mr. Juan Santino Xebastian Laurel, grandson of Amb. Laurel; and (6) Mr. Yota Kitade, spouse of Vice-Consul Domini Fañgon-Kitade.
Mr. Santino Laurel and Mr. John David Laurel won longest drives on front and back Nine respectively.
Furthermore, in the individual category, out of the 69 participants, Mr. Santino Laurel finished 4th, Mr. John David Laurel, 3rd.
