Support for Residents

The survey conducted by the Ministry of Justice in June 2020 showed there are around 290,000 Filipinos living in Japan. The Philippines ranks as the fourth largest group of foreign residents in Japan.

The Embassy shall be responsible in ensuring the protection of the rights and interests of these Filipino nationals under its jurisdiction within the parameters allowed by the Japanese government.
