Ambassador-Designate Tuy of The Royal Embassy of Cambodia Pays a Courtesy Call on Ambassador Jose C. Laurel V

08 February 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Japan H.E. Mr. Jose C. Laurel V received H.E. Mr. TUY Ry, Ambassador – Designate of The Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Japan at the Philippine Embassy on 8 February 2022.
Ambassador Laurel welcomed the Ambassador-Designate Tuy and extended his well-wishes as he begins his tour of duty in Japan. Ambassador-Designate Tuy is looking forward to taking part in the activities of the ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) with its scheduled first meeting for the year 2022 this February. Ambassador Laurel shared the cordial relations of the ASEAN Embassies in Tokyo, which is further strengthened by their close coordination through the ACT.

Prior to his assignment to Tokyo, Ambassador-Designate Tuy was working as the Under-Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He had previous foreign postings in Canada, Belgium and U.S.A.
