A: The Philippine e-Visa system is a convenient, accessible, and user-friendly interface for foreign nationals eligible to apply and secure a Philippine e-Visa.
Foreign nationals can apply for an e-Visa remotely through their personal computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
The e-Visa will no longer be affixed to passports.
Q: Who is eligible to apply for an e-Visa?
A: Foreign nationals can apply for 9(a) Philippine e-Visa if they are travelling to the Philippines for a temporary visit such as business, pleasure, medical treatment, training, attendance in conferences, meetings and workshops/seminars, and other purposes.
Applicants for other types of visas shall continue to apply for their visa applications at the Philippine Embassy and shall be issued the regular machine-readable Philippine visa stickers.
Please note that the e-Visa cannot be converted to any other type of visa.

Q. What are the types of entry visa that I can apply using the e-Visa portal and its validity?
A. Applicants may choose to apply for any of the following:
- Single-entry visa valid for three (3) months
- Multiple-entry visa valid for six (6) months
- Multiple-entry visa valid for one (1) year
Q. When is the proper timing to apply for an e-Visa?
A: Foreign travelers who need entry visas to travel to the Philippines should file their applications at least three (3) weeks before their intended flight to the Philippines. Those who wish to apply for a multiple entry visa should apply at least a month before their intended travel.
Q: How long does it take to get my e-Visa?
A: The processing time of e-Visas will be 7-12 working days for single entry and 15-21 working days for multiple entry visas.
There is no expedite processing for e-Visa applications. Please strictly observe the e-Visa processing time.
Q: Can I apply for e-Visas on behalf of someone else?
A: Proxy e-Visa applications are allowed for family members (i.e., spouses, minor children, parents, and siblings), provided that they are unable to lodge applications on their own (e.g., senior citizens, persons with disability, etc.). Q: How do I pay for the e-Visa?

Q. Do I need to make an appointment when paying for my e-Visa?
A: No, there is no need to make an appointment. E-Visa payments are accepted within business hours of the Embassy.
