Undersecretary Rolando Tungpalan of NEDA joins panel for Seminar on Quality Infrastructure

Undersecretary Rolando G. Tungpalan of the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) was one of the panelists during the Seminar on Quality Infrastructure last 11 April 2018 in Tokyo, Japan. He presented the Infrastructure Development for the Philippines, the Build,Build, Build Infrastructure Program and how it ties up with the Philippine Development Plan. Ms. Naoko UEDA, Deputy Director of the OECD Development Centre (DEV), Mr. André LABOUL, Special Financial Advisor to the G20 Sherpa and Senior Counsellor to the Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs of the OECD, H.E. Dr. Subrahmanyam JAISHANKAR, Former Foreign Secretary of India, Dr. Robert GUILD, Chief Section Officer of the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Dr. Jang Ping THIA, Principal Economist of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), also participated in the seminar as panelists.

H.E Mr. José Ángel GURRÍA Treviño, Secretary-General of the OECD and H.E. Mr. Iwao HORII, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan gave the opening and welcome remarks and introduced the cooperation between Japan and the OECD. The seminar was organized jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs –Japan and the OECD Development Center.
