Traditional “Simbang Gabi” Begins in Tokyo

To usher in the Christmas season, the Philippine Embassy Tokyo hosted the first of the traditional “Simbang Gabi” on Thursday, 15 December 2016, 7:00 PM at the St. Anselm’s Catholic Meguro Church. Fr. Louie Luyun, SVD, celebrated the mass and the FilCom Chorale led the community in singing advent liturgical songs.

Charge d’Affaires, a.i. Eduardo Martin R. Meñez and Madame Marissa V. Meñez and the rest of the Philippine Embassy shared a simple salu-salo of Filipino snacks with the Filipino community after the mass. END
