Tokyo PE conducts OAV Registration in Hiratsuka

The Philippine Embassy in Tokyo successfully conducted its seventh mobile Overseas Absentee Voters (OAV) Registration on 16 September 2012, in conjunction with the celebration of the Hiratsuka Filipino Community Day.

Consul General Marian Jocelyn R. Tirol-Ignacio met and addressed leaders and members of the Filipino community in Hiratsuka and interacted with the applicants for OAV registration.
Sixty-nine (69) applications for registration were processed during the OAV outreach. The OAV Team was composed of Consul Christian L. De Jesus (Administering Officer), and Messrs. Reynaldo B. Damgo and Mark O. Akim (VRM Operators). The mobile registration was held at the offices of the Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa.
