COMMERCIAL SERVICE ADVISER
Main Responsibility: Support and consultancy in Philippine trade/investment development and promotion in Japan through network and account creation.
Main Jobs, Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute activities pertaining to Philippine trade/investment development and promotion in Japan.
- Seek and establish strategic engagements with appropriate government agencies, institutions, industry associations, and media to aggressively promote Philippine trade and investments.
- Provide advice/consultancy to inquiries and requests of prospective importers/buyers/investors.
- Lead business matching events between Japanese importers and Philippine exporters, Japanese and Philippine investments partners.
- Conduct commercial intelligence work – market and industry movements and projections, identify appropriate contacts and establish connections with trade and investment target companies.
- Assist Commercial Counselor in business and account development
- Assist Commercial Counselor in strategic planning of trade and investment programs and activities.
- Perform other tasks and duties as instructed by the Head of Post on trade and investments matters.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business management, economics, international trade, banking, law, or related field.
- Professional Experience: At lease five (5) years of experience in account creation and development as well as business and project management.
- Skills: marketing, project/account management, event planning and management, internet-related business and/or public relations.
- Language Proficiency: Full English Fluency (writing, reading and speaking)
- Some knowledge of e-Commerce and social media and IT
