The Philippine Embassy in Japan Congratulates Filipino Gymnast Carlos Yulo For Winning the Gold Medal in the 2021 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships
24 October 2021 – The Philippine Embassy in Japan extends its warmest congratulations to Filipino Gymnast Carlos Yulo for winning the Gold Medal for the Men’s Vault and Silver Medal for the Men’s Parallel Bars at the 50th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships held in Kitakyushu, Japan on 18 – 24 October 2021.
With this feat, Carlos Yulo makes history as the first Filipino gymnast to win multiple medals from this tournament. He now has four medals from the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships since he won the Bronze Medal for the Men’s Floor Exercise in 2018 and the first Filipino to win the gold medal for the Men’s Floor Exercise in 2019.
