Samot-Saring Hiraya – Imagination Through Filipino Stories
In celebration of Buwan ng Wika, the DFA-Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy (OPCD) in cooperation with Story House Philippines will be holding an online storytelling event entitled “Samot-Saring Hiraya: Imagination through Filipino Stories” on 22 August 2023, Tuesday, at 2:00 PM (PHST) to be livestreamed on the DFA’s official YouTube channel, and Facebook page.
Let us promote understanding and appreciation of oral storytelling, cultures, and the arts through Filipino folktales. Let’s inspire the next generation to explore the rich heritage of the Philippines through captivating narratives.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, ang DFA-Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy (OPCD), sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Story House Philippines, ay magtatanghal ng online na pagkukuwento na pinamagatang “Samot-Saring Hiraya: Imagination through Filipino Stories” sa ika-22 ng Agosto 2023, Martes, alas dos ng hapon (PHST) na ipapalabas sa mga opisyal na YouTube channel at Facebook page ng DFA.
Isulong natin ang pag-unawa at pagpapahalaga sa oral storytelling, kultura, at sining sa pamamagitan ng mga kwentong bayan ng Filipino. Hikayatin natin ang susunod na henerasyon na tuklasin ang mayaman na pamana ng Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng nakabibighaning mga salaysay.
