Philippine Skateboard Team Competes in the World Street Skateboarding Championship in Tokyo
The Philippine Skateboard Team was in Japan to compete in the 2023 World Street Skateboarding Championship at the Ariake Colosseum on 10-17 December 2023. Philippine Ambassador Mylene J. Garcia-Albano received Tokyo Olympic qualifier Margielyn Didal, Christiana Means, John Flory Panugalinog, Renz Mark Feliciano, Cindy Lou Serna, and the rest of the team on 15 December 2023 for a courtesy visit to the Philippine Embassy.
The team expressed their optimism that the athletes’ performance at the Tokyo competition will help them advance and qualify for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics in July and August 2024.
The next PARIS 2024 Olympic qualification games will be at the Dubai Street 2024 in March 2024.
