Philippine Embassy Holds Post-Mass Briefing For Filipinos in Yotsuya

TOKYO, 25 July 2025 – Following a special Filipino Group Holy Mass at St. Ignatius Church in Yotsuya, Tokyo, the Philippine Embassy conducted an information and outreach session for the Filipino community on 20 July 2025.

Spearheaded by the Office of the Ambassador, together with the Consular Section and the Migrant Workers Office-Tokyo (MWO-Tokyo), the briefing aimed to update the community on essential consular services, labor assistance programs, and upcoming Embassy initiatives.

In a separate statement, Philippine Ambassador to Japan Mylene J. Garcia-Albano underscored the importance of staying informed and engaged.

“The Embassy is committed to meeting our kababayan wherever they are, whether in places of faith, work, or wider community. These briefings are part of our efforts to ensure that every Filipino in Japan feels supported, heard, and empowered,” she said.
