TOKYO, 16 November 2025 – As part of the Philippine Embassy’s continuing cultural education series under Sentro Rizal-Tokyo, and to further promote its public diplomacy initiatives, the Embassy welcomed students and teachers from Toyo Eiwa Jogakuin Primary School located near the chancery on 07 November 2025, for an afternoon of cultural exchange and camaraderie. “Toyo Eiwa Jogakuin Primary School is just a stone’s throw away from the Embassy and we see its students going to and from the school on a daily basis. This inaugural visit provided the Embassy with the opportunity to personally introduce Philippine culture, heritage and values to the students and teachers of the school. I look forward to more collaborative events with Toyo Eiwa Jogakuin, not only as our neighbor but also as a close partner of the Embassy in strengthening people-to-people ties between the Philippines and Japan,” underscored Philippine Ambassador Mylene J. Garcia-Albano following the visit.
