Universal Entertainment Corporation to Donate 5,000 Units of UV-C Handy Irradiation Sanitizers to the Philippine Government
19 November 2020 – The Universal Entertainment Corporation (UEC) has announced its intention to donate 5,000 units of the UV-C Handy Sanitizers to the Philippine Government to help in counter-measure efforts against COVID-19.
In a courtesy call held today, sample units of the sanitizers were presented to Ambassador Laurel by Mr. Jun Fujimoto, Representative Director, President CEO and CIO of the UEC, together with The Honorable TOYAMA Kiyohiko, Ph.D., Member of the House of Representatives of Japan. They explained that the devices are made in Japan, that they are available only for use by the Universal Entertainment Company in its premises, and expressed the hope that the exclusive donation to the Philippine Government will strengthen overall health and sanitation measures adopted to fight COVID and other diseases.
This is UEC’s second batch of donation to the Philippine Government since the outbreak of the coronavirus. In June this year, 500,000 pieces of facemasks were also donated by UEC to the Philippine Government.
