PH Ambassador Highlights Role of Filipino Community in Strengthening PH-JP Friendship at El Shaddai – Japan Chapter’s 34th Anniversary
Philippine Ambassador to Japan Mylene J. Garcia-Albano delivers remarks at the 34th anniversary celebration of the El Shaddai Prayer Partners Fellowship International Japan Chapter (El Shaddai-Japan Chapter) on 06 September 2026 at the University of the Sacred Heart Chapel in Shibuya, Tokyo.
TOKYO, 10 September 2026 – In line with the objective of the Philippine Embassy in Japan of further strengthening its partnership with the Filipino Community, Philippine Ambassador to Japan Mylene J. Garcia-Albano participated as a special guest in the 34th anniversary celebration of the El Shaddai Prayer Partners Fellowship International Japan Chapter (El Shaddai-Japan Chapter) on 06 September 2026 at the University of the Sacred Heart Chapel in Shibuya, Tokyo.
“I would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the El Shaddai-Japan Chapter. You have been a vital pillar of guidance, fellowship, and unwavering support for our kababayan here in Japan. This year, we are celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Normalization of Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Japan, and through the lives you build, the friendships you nurture, and your meaningful contributions to Japanese society and the Filipino Community in the host country, you help further deepen the friendship and mutual understanding between our two countries,” highlighted Ambassador Garcia-Albano during her remarks.

Ambassador Garcia-Albano also expressed the Embassy’s commitment to providing services for the Filipino Community in Japan, including consular, welfare and social security assistance, overseas voter registration (OVR) for the 2028 Philippine National Elections, and services offered by the newly-opened Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) – Japan Office.
