When to Vote
The voting period is from 09 April to 09 May 2016 (everyday).
Where to Vote
All registered voters may cast their votes at the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo during the voting period (09 April – 09 May 2016) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (no lunch break) including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays except on 09 April 2016 (8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.).
Who May Vote
Filipino citizens qualified to vote and are duly-registered may vote in the 2016 National Elections. Please refer to the Certified List of Overseas Voters (CLOV) from COMELEC to determine if you are a registered voter:

How to Vote
Per COMELEC Resolution No. 10052, the Embassy is adopting the Modified Postal Voting system in 2016 which allows registered voters to cast their votes by:
- Postal Voting – registered voters may opt to receive their ballots by mail; or
- Personal Voting – registered voters may personally come to the Philippine Embassy to cast their votes during the voting period.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
- All ballots will be sent directly to registered voters without waiting for their request to mail their ballots per Joint Congressional Oversight Meeting on 23 March 2016.
- Ballots will be sent to the address provided by the voters when they registered for the elections.
- The cost of sending your ballots to the Embassy by mail shall be borne by the voter.
- In the event that the voter appeared personally at the Embassy during the voting period to cast their votes but whose ballot has been sent by mail to their registered address, said voter shall await the receipt of their ballots by mail and then return their ballots to the Embassy either by mail or personal delivery.
