Philippine Embassy supports Filipino-American pianist in Chopin concert in Tokyo
18 June 2025 – As part of its advocacy to promote exceptional Filipino talents, the Philippine Embassy, led by Ambassador Mylene J. Garcia-Albano, extended its support to pianist, Mr. Jim-Isaac Chua, during his intimate concert entitled “Frédéric Chopin: Poetry and Dance”, with Japanese pianist, Ms. Kanade Tsurusawa, at the Shibuya Hall, Tokyo.
Mr. Chua and Mr. Tsurusawa wowed the mostly local audience with their renditions of Chopin’s masterpieces.
Deputy Chief of Mission Christian L. De Jesus also represented the Embassy during the musical event.
