On 14 December 2024, the Philippine Embassy spotlighted the challenges faced by Filipino migrants in Japan with regard to language education at the International Conference on Migration Linguistics hosted by the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.

We underscored the importance of language as a bridge to inclusion, empowerment, and opportunity for our kababayans living and working in Japan. Together with global experts and stakeholders, we aim to create pathways for better integration and communication.
