DENR and Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation Sign Memorandum of Understanding on Jointly Conserving The Critically Endangered Tamaraw

The Philippine Embassy in Japan is glad to see the partnership between the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation (TMPF) to protect the critically endangered Tamaraw through the Tamaraw Conservation Program.
Under their new partnership, TMPF will provide a Tamaraw vehicle, ranger gear kits, and a PHP 3-million conservation fund to support habitat monitoring, research, and indigenous volunteer programs.
This collaboration is a meaningful step towards safeguarding the Philippines’ unique biodiversity and natural heritage 🐃💚
