Beauty of the Free: An online book review of “What it means to be Malaya”
The Philippine Embassy in Japan shares an invitation from the Department of Foreign Affairs to a virtual book launch on 11 December 2021, 6:00 p.m. (Japan Time) on the official Facebook page and YouTube channel of the DFA.
In every generation, the youth is considered the hope of the future. They are the link to the past and they are seen as the ones who will continue the culture and tradition for many years to come. This puts pressure on the Filipino youth who are learning to discover themselves in a society where expectations are endless.
Ms. Emmily Magtalas Rhodes will enlighten us about the hardships and trials faced by the youth of today amidst the endless standards that has become a norm in the Philippine society.
“Beauty of the Free: An online book review of What it means to be Malaya” is a project of the Department of Foreign Affairs, in observance of the Year of Filipino Pre-Colonial Ancestors.
