Ambassador Meets With Toyo Construction As Part Of Build-Build-Build Program and Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Efforts
01 October 2021 – Ambassador Jose C. Laurel V met with officials from Toyo Constructions, Co. Ltd. led by Mr. INOUE Takuro (left of the Ambassador in the picture), Director, Deputy General Manager of Civil Construction Division in charge of overseas to discuss how the company continues to support the Build-Build-Build infrastructure program, including the climate change and disaster risk reduction efforts, of the Philippine government.
Toyo Constructions Co. Ltd. recently received orders for the Phase IV of the Pasig-Marikina River Channel Improvement Project to mitigate the flood damage caused by the rivers while also improving the riverside environment. Previously, Toyo Constructions was also awarded Phase II and Phase III of this Project.
Toyo Construction has been engaged in river improvement projects in the country since 1973, which include emergency recovery work in the Agno River region, a flood countermeasures project in Ormoc City, and the Laoag River Basin Flood Control and Sabo Project, among others.
