Ambassador Garcia-Albano Calls On Chief Justice Tokura Saburo of the Supreme Court of Japan
Ambassador Mylene J. Garcia-Albano paid a courtesy call on Chief Justice Tokura Saburo of the Supreme Court of Japan on 19 June 2023 to discuss matters of mutual interest, including the promotion of judicial exchanges at various levels.
Ambassador-Garcia Albano expressed the Philippines’ interest in learning from Japan’s best practices in advancing the digitalization of court procedures and processes given Japan’s advanced technology and know-how. She also congratulated Chief Justice Tokura on his first year of office as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Japan.
