DOTr Holds Meeting on the Expressions of Interest for the Metro Manila Subway Project

The Department of Transportation and Railways, represented by Undersecretary for Railways, Timothy John Batan, held a meeting in the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo for the Expressions of Interest on the Partial Operability Section of the Metro Manila Subway project. Deputy Chief of Mission Eduardo M.R. Meñez welcomed the participants while Mr. Shinya Nakamura of OCG, DOTr Project Consultants, presented the conditions at each site. More than seventy Japanese companies attended the morning briefing with the intention to participate in the design and building of the first three stations of the Subway project from Mindanao Avenue to North Avenue that should be completed by 2022.
