ASEAN Fantastic Women in Japan
Ten (10) women who are playing active roles in Japan represented each member of the ASEAN region which includes Ms. Sarah Wong Seow Chui from Brunei Darussalam, Ms. Eng Kimpheng from Cambodia, Ms. Calista Chang from Indonesia, Ms. Sinthana Chounramany from Lao PDR, Ms. Zunita Ramli from Malaysia, Ms. Phyu Phyu Thet from Myanmar, Ms. Beverly from the Philippines, Ms. Oh Xuemin from Singapore, Ms. Ubonthip Sethtasakko from Thailand, and Ms. Doan Le Hai from Vietnam.
10 August 2022 – The ASEAN-Japan Centre’s (AJC) program featuring “ASEAN Fantastic Women in Japan” is now available as a special supplement at the Japan Times website.
The program takes a closer look at ten (10) women from ASEAN countries who are active in Japan, and the videos aim to create awareness about opportunities for ASEAN women in making a professional career in Japan.
Ms. Beverly Caimen, named top new artist in Japan’s 2017 RecoChoku Awards, is the Philippines’ representative to this program.
