Travel Insurance
Prior to travelling to Japan, Filipino tourists and students are advised to secure travel insurance to cover medical expenses and emergency repatriation.
Work Restrictions
All foreign visitors entering Japan must have a valid passport for the duration of their stay, and all visitors must comply with the conditions of their visas.
Foreign nationals intending to work in Japan require an appropriate working visa. Working or engaging in any paid activity on a short-term stay or tourist visa is strictly prohibited in Japan.
Lost Passport
In case of loss or theft of Philippine passports, Filipinos are advised to report to the local Japanese police station and obtain a police report. Afterwards, please follow the instructions and requirements in applying for a new passport or one-way travel document at the Embassy.
