Advisory: Cash Handout Program for Students in Japan
On 19 May 2020, the Japanese government approved a program to provide cash handouts to eligible university and other students in Japan. This will help students who are facing problems in paying for tuition or living costs as a result of the Covid-19 situation in the country.
Students from overseas at universities and Japanese language schools are also eligible for the cash handout program which starts at ¥100,000. Students should coordinate with their respective universities and schools to inquire about the qualifications and application process for the cash handout program.

Programang Cash Handout Para sa mga Estudyante sa Japan
Naglunsad ang gobyerno ng Japan noong 19 May 2020 ng programa na cash handout para sa mga kwalipikadong estudyante sa Japan. Ito ay bilang tulong sa mga estudyanteng nahihirapan sa pagbayad ng tuition iba pang gastusin dahil sa sitwasyon bunga ng Covid-19.
Ang mga estudyante mula sa ibang bansa na nag-aaral sa mga unibersidad o sa mga Japanese language schools ay kabilang din sa mga maaring makatanggap ng benepisyo na hindi bababa sa ¥100,000. Ang mga estudyante ay dapat makipag-ugnayan sa kanilang unibersidad at eskwelahan upang malaman ang mga kwalipikasyon at proseso upang mag-apply para sa cash handout.
