Pag-IBIG Japan Member Services Desk
Job Description:
The Member Services Officer (MSO) provides frontline services at the Pag-IBIG Member Services Desk located at the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. The MSO shall perform the following functions:
- Provide information and guidance on Pag-IBIG Fund programs, services, and Republic Act No. 9679, particularly by responding to member inquiries and assisting clients in understanding their benefits availment;
- Assist members in accessing Pag-IBIG Fund services, including explaining procedures, requirements, and available service channels, in coordination with the Filipino community and relevant stakeholders;
- Process member transactions, including membership registration, promotion of online services, preliminary evaluation of submitted documents for loans and benefits;
receipt of loans and claims applications; - Coordinate with the Pag-IBIG Fund Head Office on the processing and status of membership records, claims, and loan benefit applications, and provide updates to concerned members as appropriate;
- Guide and facilitate members on the proper remittance of Pag-IBIG Fund contributions and loan amortizations through accredited remittance channels;
- Submit periodic written reports of his activities to Pag-IBIG International Operations Group, a copy furnished the Head of Post; and
- Perform such other duties and responsibilities as the Head of Post or the Chief Executive Officer may prescribe or assign from time to time.
Job Status: Local Hire
Qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen
- Must be able to travel and work in Tokyo, Japan
- Must possess an appropriate visa to be allowed to work for Pag-IBIG Fund from the time of application up to engagement. Individuals with temporary visa or non-working visa are not encouraged to apply.
- Preferably a college graduate of any course
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
