Philippine Embassy in Tokyo Conducts Its Fifth Outreach Consular Mission in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan

The Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, Japan in cooperation with the Filipino Friendship Isesaki headed by Mr. Rudy Dela Vega, Filipino Community Volunteers in Gunma, successfully conducted its fifth annual consular outreach mission at the Kasuri no Sato in Isesaki City on 29 July 2017. Gunma is located 138 kilometers from the Embassy and home to more than 7,000 Filipinos.

During the one-day mission, a total of 125 ePassport applications and 34 notarial and civil registration services were processed. Consultation services on various consular matters were provided by the team. Also, a total of 100 applications for Overseas Absentee Voting registration were received.

The next consular outreach missions will be conducted in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka on 19 August and in Sapporo, Hokkaido on 16 September 2017. END
