The Philippine Embassy triumphed as the overall champion of this year\u2019s ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Bowling Tournament held on <\/span>24 July<\/span> 20<\/span>10<\/span> at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel bowling centre. This annual sports event<\/span> <\/span>was hosted this time by the <\/span>Vietnam<\/span> Embassy. <\/span><\/p>\n

The 7-member Philippine Embassy team bested the other nine ASEAN Embassies by garnering a total pinfall of 3,<\/span>053<\/span> for three games. They were followed by the <\/span>Singapore<\/span> Embassy team at second place with a total pinfall of <\/span>2,996<\/span> and the <\/span>Malaysia<\/span> Embassy team at third with 2,9<\/span>71<\/span>. In the Women\u2019s Individual Category, <\/span>Ms. Maria Nenita Llenos of <\/span>the <\/span>Philippine<\/span> Embassy <\/span>won<\/span> <\/span>the <\/span>first place. <\/span><\/p>\n

Accepting the championship trophy for the Philippine Embassy was H.E. Ambassador Domingo L. Siazon, Jr. The Philippine Embassy team was <\/span>also <\/span>overall winner in 200<\/span>8, and was tied for third place with the Malaysia Embassy in 2009<\/span>. This year\u2019s line-up is composed of Vice<\/span> <\/span>Consul Christian <\/span>D<\/span>e Jesus<\/span> (Team Leader)<\/span>, Mr<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span>Ricardo Yambao<\/span>, Mr<\/span>. Nestor Leuterio,<\/span> <\/span>Mr. Lopito Orines, Mr. <\/span>Enrico Nocum, Mr<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span>Leopoldo Orines, and <\/span>Ms<\/span>.<\/span> Maria Nenita Llenos.<\/span><\/p>\n
