Philippine Embassy in Tokyo Lights Christmas Tree and Nativity Scene

Mr. Eduardo M.R. Meñez (middle in suit), Charge d’ Affaires, a.i., of the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, offered a toast before Embassy personnel at the lighting ceremony of the Christmas Tree and Nativity Scene at the Embassy lobby on 01 December 2016. In his message, CDA Meñez presented the historical accounts of the Christmas Tree and the Nativity Scene as symbols of Christmas. The event was attended by Embassy personnel who were served with cocktails after the lighting ceremony.

CDA Eduardo M.R. Meñez of the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo and spouse Marissa V. Meñez led the lighting ceremony of the Nativity Scene at the Embassy lobby on 01 December 2016.  The Nativity Scene and other Christmas decorations were donated to the Embassy by former PHL Ambassador to Japan Manuel M. Lopez and Mrs. Ma. Teresa L. Lopez.
