DLS-College of Saint Benilde Student Delegates to the National Model United Nations in Japan Visit the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo

Twenty-five (25) consular and diplomatic affairs students from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) called on Ms. Marian Jocelyn R. Tirol-Ignacio (seated in the middle), Charge d’ Affaires, a.i., of the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo on 17 November 2016. Accompanied by their adviser Ms. Catherine Dee Samaniego (seated 5th from the left), the DLS-CSB students are delegates to the National Model United Nations (NMUN) in Kobe, Japan, on 20-26 November 2016. NMUN is the oldest and longest running Model League/Model United Nations organization in the world. Organized by the National Collegiate Conference Association in partnership with the Kobe City University of Foreign Studies, student-delegates to the NMUN Kobe 2016 are expected to discuss matters of global importance. The NMUN Kobe 2016 will also bring the student-delegates to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Japan such as the Hiroshima Peace Memorial as well as shrines, temples, and gardens in the ancient capital of Kyoto.
