Information concerning Influenza A(H1N1)
Provision of consultation and medical treatment in Tokyo

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has changed its policy for provision of consultation and medical treatment as follows:

1. Treatment of individuals with fever and other symptoms
   Based on the change in the central government’s policy, individuals who are suspected of having
   infected Influenza A(H1N1) will now be treated by general medical institutions including personal
   physicians. As of July 10, facilities previously set up for patients with fever will be closed.

   
   

   
   

2. Consultation Center for Influenza A(H1N1)
   The Fever Consultation Centers will be renamed the Influenza A(H1N1) Consultation Centers. It
   will provide consultation for individuals who do not have personal physicians and do not know
   which medical institution to consult, or for individuals who are recovering at home. Phone numbers
   will be the same as those of the fever consultation centers.
