Nominations Open for 2011 Bagong Bayani Awards (BBA)
The Bagong Bayani Awards (BBA) is a national search for the Philippines’ outstanding and exemplary Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
The BBA is a major program of the non-stock, non-profit Bagong Bayani Foundation, Inc., of which the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) are members.
The search is ongoing for outstanding OFWs to be recognized in the 2011 Bagong Bayani Awards. The Awards will be given in December 2011 at Malacañang Palace by H.E. President Benigno S. Aquino III.
The period for the submission of nominations has been extended until 31 July 2011. The nomination form, who may nominate, category of awards and criteria for the different award categories may be downloaded from the POEA website:
