Philippine Embassy in Tokyo Presents Excellent Client Service Award of the Year

Philippine Ambassador to Japan Jose C. Laurel V presented the Excellent Client Service Award of the Year 2017 to Mr. Orlando E. Manalo and Ms. Belen M. Furuta, both consular staff of the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo. Mr. Manalo and Ms. Furuta joined the Embassy in 2015 and 2011, respectively.

The award, given only to consular staff of the Embassy, was in recognition of their outstanding commitment and exemplary service in bringing consular services closer to the public and who exceeded expectation in the performance of their duties and responsibilities. The award was based on the client feedback for the year 2017 accomplished and submitted by the transacting public availing themselves of consular services of the Embassy. The client feedback forms an integral part of the Embassy’s vision to provide the best client service possible.

The award was first given by the Embassy in March 2017 and continued on a monthly basis to inspire consular staff of the Embassy to help keep on improving customer care and client satisfaction to better serve the public. Following were the monthly awardees in 2017:
